Buenos días, esta es la última publicación de Sociales de este curso.

Espero que este verano repaséis lo que hemos trabajado para ir bien preparados el curso que viene.

Os recomiendo que os compréis algún cuadernillo de repaso de 5º, el que más os guste, que además os ayude a preparar 6º. Estos cuadernillos traen las respuestas por lo que os podéis corregir vosotros mismos. No es obligatorio comprar algún cuadernillo, pero es muy recomendable.

Vamos a terminar la unidad 9, a repasarla y a repasar el tercer trimestre para terminar el curso.
Una posible forma de trabajo sería la siguiente:

Día 1: Copiad las páginas: 120 y 121 buscando en el diccionario las palabras que os dificulten su entendimiento, así como el Did you know...?. 

Día 2: Copiad y contestad los enunciados de Check what you know! de las preguntas de las páginas: 124 y 125.

Día 3: Copiad y contestad al Review del tercer trimestre de las unidades: 7, 8 y 9, de las páginas: 126 y 127.

Esta semana vamos a terminar la Unidad 8.

Tenéis que copiar los mapas con sus leyenda y colorearlos, además de los textos buscando en el diccionario las palabras que os dificulten entender el contenido de lo que estáis escribiendo.
Copiad las páginas: 108 y 109, en la página: 109 también hay que copiar la línea del tiempo coloreándola.

 Tenéis que REPASAR la Unidad 8 para poder contestar a las preguntas de las páginas: 112 y 113 del Check what you know!.

Buenos días, empezamos tema nuevo, aunque seguimos con historia.

Os recomiendo que organicéis vuestro tiempo para que no os agobiéis haciendo las tareas.
No os limitéis a copiar, buscad en el diccionario las palabras que os dificulten entender lo que estáis escribiendo. Escribid el título de la unidad y el número de la páginas que estáis copiando.

Aquí os dejos la sugerencia de trabajo para esta semana:

Día 1: Copiad el título de la Unidad. UNIDAD 8 The Early Modern period (I), página: 104  The Catholic Monarchs y página: 105 Ferdinand II and Isabella I, copiad el mapa con papel vegetal coloreándolo y copiando la leyenda.

Día 2: Copiad la página: 106 The discovery of America y el mapa con papel vegetal, luego copiad la página: 107 The Spanish colonization of America.

Esta semana seguimos con la unidad 7.

Día 1. Copia de las páginas 92 y 93. Con el papel cebolla o vegetal  se copian los mapas de España poniendo todas las letra y la leyenda, debéis colorearlo para que os quede más claro el contenido de los mapas y sus leyendas.

Día 2. Copia de las páginas 94 y 95.
Copiar el mapa del Camino de Santiago y su leyenda de la página 94 y de la página 95 copiad el Did you know...

"An Olympic football ⚽ field has a touchline length of 100–120 meters."

That means you need 1️⃣0️⃣ football fields to make 1️⃣KM.

All of the Planets in this video are measured in KM, so try to imagine 💭 how big that is!!

*Some of the planets in the beginning are dwarf (small) planets.

The video also shows the moon(s) 🌛 if a planet has them.*

UNIT 6 FINANCE

Hello, again! I wish you the best for all of you at home!

I will remind you what to do with this subject helping you to organize your daily work not to get bored and not to forget what we have learned in the classroom.

First of all we copied pages 74 and 75, we used de dictionaries to look up the unknown vocabulary, in these two pages we learned about Money and savings, and Method of payment.
We also knew about the invention of coins in ancient Turkey. If you haven't completed them you should start with them.

This is a possible way to work on your own the rest of the unit:

Day 1: Copy page 76, you should look up the unknown vocabulary using a bilingual dictionary
or on the internet. You need to add the new words in your vocabulary list at the back of your notebooks. Here you will learn how to classify different companies depending on several criteria.

Day 2: Copy page 78, again you should work with the vocabulary as I explained in Day 1. Here you will learn about consumerism and advertising.

Day 3: Review the whole unit and start doing in your notebooks the activities from de Check what you Know! pages: 82 and 83. We will correct them when we come back to school to review the unit and prepare the test unit.

Day 4: Start reviewing Units 4, 5 and 6 and start doing in your notebooks the activities from the Review Units 4-6, pages. 84 and 85. Remember these pages are specially important because they can make you pass the second term recuperation test.

It may take you longer than 4 days, don't worry!. You will have plenty of time to do everything.
