The Solar System

Hello 2nd Graders! 👋🏼😁

The Solar System 🌍 is one MY favourite 🌟 things to learn 🤔about!
It's so big! 👉🏼                    👈🏼
We (on Earth) are so small! 👉🏼  👈🏼
There's always more to learn about!

Do you remember  🤔the Planets that revolve 🔄 around the Sun 🌞?
Mercury
Venus
Earth
Mars
Jupiter
Saturn
Uranus
Neptune

In English, we learn a little trick (pista) to help remember the Planets in order....
"My Very Energetic Mother Just Served Us Nachos!"

Maybe you have a saying in Spanish??

Let's have a look 👀 at the size (big / small) of our Solar System!

"An Olympic football ⚽ field has a touchline length of 100–120 meters."
That means you need 1️⃣0️⃣ football fields to make 1️⃣KM.

All of the Planets in this video are measured in KM, so try to imagine 💭 how big that is!!

*Some of the planets in the beginning are dwarf (small) planets.
The video also shows the moon(s) 🌛 if a planet has them.*
